Lee Honored

STANFORD, Calif. – Junior Andrea Lee was named Pac-12 Women's Golfer of the Month for February, the conference announced Monday. It marked the third time in her career she has earned the honor, previously winning in October of 2016 and October of 2017.

Lee captured her seventh career victory last month at the Northrop Grumann Challenge near her hometown of Hermosa Beach, Calif., shooting rounds of 70-70-73 to finish at even-par 213. Her one-stroke individual win sparked the No. 5 Cardinal to its second victory of the season.

Last week, Lee tied for 12th in challenging conditions at the Bruin Wave Invitational in San Luis Obispo, Calif. She closed with a 1-under 71, shooting 3-under 33 on her final nine to lift Stanford to its second consecutive triumph.

In five events this season, Lee has broken par in nine of 13 rounds and is an accumulative 3-under. She is now ranked No. 1 in the country by Golfweek/Sagarin.

Stanford returns to competition March 29-31 at the Arizona State Invitational.
