Exciting Challenge

STANFORD, Calif. – After notching its first Pac-12 victory of the season against Arizona, No. 24 Stanford travels to Los Angeles on Sunday for a big test against No. 2 UCLA at iconic Pauley Pavilion in its final regular-season meet. Competition starts at 1 p.m. and it will be televised by Pac-12 Network.

The Cardinal scored a season-high 196.525 points and recorded season-bests on bars (49.200) and beam (49.125) while sweeping every event against the Wildcats. Rachael Flam (vault), Kyla Bryant-Madison Brunette (bars), Wesley Stephenson (beam) and Bryant (floor and all-around) led a balanced performance at sold out Burnham Pavilion.

Stanford and UCLA have already faced off this season. The Bruins visited Maples Pavilion on Jan. 27 and emerged with a 197.225-195.125 triumph in front of a sellout crowd of more than 6,000 at Maples Pavilion, the largest home turnout in program history.

Bryant won the all-around, shared  second on the uneven bars and tied for third on floor.

On the rematch with UCLA: "They're just in a different place. It's always exciting to go against the top teams in the country to see where we are. We have to control what we can control."
