Card Competes in San Diego

SAN DIEGO, Calif – No. 1 Stanford will race two varsity eight boats on Saturday in the San Diego Crew Classic. 
 
Last weekend for its spring season opener, Stanford won both races against Princeton at Lake Carnegie in the Class of 2015 Cup. 
 
On Saturday, Stanford's first varsity eight boat will be racing at 9:04 a.m. in heat 1 of the Jessop-Whitier Cup. 
 
The Cardinal will race another varsity eight boat on Saturday at 12:16 p.m. in heat 2 of the Carley Copley Cup.  
 
Saturday's race results will determine which boats will reach the finals of their respective Cups, which take place on Sunday.
