CORVALLIS, Ore. - For the second day in a row, No. 24 Stanford had a game canceled due to rain, with Sunday's finale at Oregon State washed out. The Cardinal took the opener, 3-2, on Friday, but the two teams could not throw another pitch over the course of the weekend.
This marks the third Pac-12 game on Stanford's schedule that has been rained out. Stanford previously had the final game of a three-game set at California washed out due to the rain.
Stanford will now prepare to visit Santa Clara for a 6 p.m. game on Tuesday.
