Forty Earn All-Academic

STANFORD, Calif. -- Stanford placed 40 on the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic team for indoor track and field – the most of any of the 22 schools in the conference.

Stanford's 19 was the most for any men's team, and the Cardinal women tied for the most, with 21.

Among Stanford's honorees were 16 All-Americans. Among those were Harrison Williams, Stanford's first individual NCAA indoor champion since 2011. Williams, the heptathlon winner, earned his third MPSF All-Academic honor.

Also, Lena Giger earned her fourth MPSF All-Academic award. Giger was the NCAA indoor runner-up in the shot put. Both Williams and Giger broke their own school records at the NCAA Championships in their final collegiate indoor meets.
