Lake Natoma Invitational

GOLD RIVER, CA – No. 3 Stanford will compete in the Lake Natoma Invitational this weekend against other top rowing programs. 
 
Last weekend, Stanford was in Southern California racing in the San Diego Crew Classic. The Cardinal's second varsity eight captured the Jackie Ann Stitt Hungness Trophy on day two of the regatta. 
 
Stanford will race all of its varsity eight and varsity four boats this weekend. 
 
Racing begins for the Cardinal at 9:10 a.m., as its first varsity four competes against Georgetown and Sacramento State. An hour later, the Cardinal's first varsity eight will take on these same schools. 
 
To kick off the afternoon of races, Stanford's third varsity eight will compete against its rival, No. 2 California at 3:30 p.m. in heat two.
 
The Cardinal's first and second varsity eight and varsity four boats will also race in the afternoon session on Saturday against No. 12 USC and Tulsa. 
 
Sunday's races will take place in the morning as Stanford's first varsity four and its first and second varsity eight boats race against No. 2 California and No. 6 Brown.  
 
Stanford's varsity four boat races at 8:10 a.m., while the second varsity eight and the first varsity eight race at 8:40 a.m. and 9:10 a.m. respectively.
