GOLD RIVER, Calif. – No. 3 Stanford finished day two of the Lake Natoma Invitational with two wins and two second place finishes.
Stanford's third varsity eight started off day two of racing on Sunday. The Cardinal's boat finished second, just six seconds behind No. 2 California.
The Cardinal's first and second varsity eight and its varsity four all competed in races against No. 2 California and No. 6 Brown. Stanford's varsity four and second varsity eight clinched first while its varsity eight finished behind the Golden Bears.
Stanford will see its rival, California, next weekend as it hosts the Golden Bears for the annual Big Row.
