STANFORD, Calif. - Fueled by its SoCal sweep last weekend, No. 5 Stanford can move one step closer to securing another regular-season conference title this weekend.

Winners of nine in a row, Stanford (14-1, 5-0 Pac-12) jumped two spots in the rankings after producing clutch 4-3 road victories at No. 11 UCLA and No. 16 USC. In both cases, the Cardinal received dramatic tie-breaking clinchers from Emily Arbuthnott and Caroline Lampl against the previously unbeaten Bruins and Trojans, respectively.

Three-time defending Pac-12 champion Stanford has now won 32 straight regular-season conference matches dating back to March 5, 2016, when it lost 4-3 at Arizona State.

The Cardinal, which is 5-1 against nationally-ranked teams, has an opportunity to pocket two more such victories this weekend. It's the final homestand of the regular season for Stanford, which welcomes No. 36 Washington State (17-5, 2-3 Pac-12) on Friday and No. 15 Washington (15-1, 5-0 Pac-12) on Saturday.

Stanford is looking to remain unbeaten in nine home matches this season and has won 57 of its last 60 contests at Taube Family Tennis Stadium.

There's suddenly some added sizzle to Saturday's match against Washington, which is the only conference team hotter than Stanford, as the Huskies have won 10 in a row. The Cardinal will have added incentive on Senior Day, celebrating the careers of Caroline Lampl, Melissa Lord, Naomie Rosenberg, Elizabeth Yao and Kimberly Yee. Among the accomplishments for Stanford's five-member senior class: two NCAA titles (2016, 2018), three Pac-12 crowns (2016, 2017, 2018), 84-12 overall record, 33-1 Pac-12 record and 45-2 record at Taube Family Tennis Stadium.

For the ninth consecutive week, Stanford leads the nation with seven players ranked in singles. In addition to owning the Cardinal's highest ranking, No. 22 Emily Aburthnott (25-4, 12-1 duals) leads the squad in victories. No. 59 Caroline Lampl (22-6, 13-0 duals) is riding a 15-match winning streak and stands two victories away from 100 in her career. No. 74 Janice Shin (21-5, 11-3 duals) has also reached the 20-win mark while No. 35 Melissa Lord (18-8, 11-3 duals), No. 36 Michaela Gordon (16-9, 8-4 duals) and No. 93 Emma Higuchi (18-5, 9-3 duals) are close behind.

In doubles, the Cardinal is also well represented with four ranked doubles teams. Lampl and Yee (14-6, 8-2 duals) represent Stanford's highest-ranked pairing at No. 15.
