FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Defending NCAA champ Mackenzie Little remained undefeated this season by earning the women's javelin victory at the National Relay Championships at University of Arkansas on Friday.

Little's winning distance of 187-3 (57.07 meters) came on the last of her six throws. Three of her throws were longer than the second-place distance of 173-0 (52.73m) by Mississippi State's Sarah Blake. Stanford sophomore Virginia Miller was fourth at 154-7 (47.13m).

Little has won all four of her meets this year and has a seven-meet winning streak since her second place at this meet last year. Little, a senior, continues to lead all collegians with her season best of 195-1 (59.47m).

In the men's 110 high hurdles, Julian Body ran a lifetime best 14.23 to finish fifth. His previous best was 14.42, from the Big Meet on April 6.

There was one other personal best among Stanford athletes on Friday. Decathlete Harrison Williams competed in the discus and threw a best of 144-4 (44.01m) – a 3-foot improvement. Williams also threw the javelin 159-5 (48.59m).

The three-meet concludes Saturday at John McDonnell Field.
