STANFORD, Calif. – The streaking Stanford men's golf team was well-represented Wednesday when the conference announced its 2018-19 award winners.
Seniors Brandon Wu and Isaiah Salinda were selected to the All-Pac-12 first team, while junior David Snyder made the second team. Freshman Daulet Tuleubayev earned honorable mention and was honorable mention on the All-Freshman Team.
Wu, who is having an outstanding spring, captured his first individual title on March 30 at The Goodwin and has posted four top-10's. He also made the All-Pac-12 first team last year, was a second team selection in 2016-17 and made the All-Freshman Team in 2015-16.
Salinda has also come on strong this spring and garnered All-Pac-12 honorable mention each of the last two years. He won his first collegiate crown on April 14 at the Western Intercollegiate and has produced four top-10 showings.
Snyder has been an integral part of the No. 15 Stanford's current three-tournament winning streak. He tied for first with Wu at The Goodwin and secured a share of 10th last week at the Pac-12 Championships.
Tuleubayev has finished 27th or higher three times. He contributed a career-best tie for seventh last week at the Pac-12 Championships, firing a season-low 4-under-par 67 in the first round.
The Cardinal will host the NCAA Stanford Regional on May 13-15 at Stanford Golf Course. The field will be announced Wednesday night at 6 p.m. PT on the Golf Channel.
