STANFORD, Calif.– Stanford competes in the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Championships this weekend, which takes place May 31st through June 2nd in Gold River, California, seeking its fifth consecutive title.

The Cardinal will be one of seven programs competing for the IRA title this weekend, along with Boston, Georgetown, Harvard, MIT, Princeton, and Wisconsin – the same teams Stanford raced against in last year's IRA Championships.

Racing will begin for the Cardinal on Saturday morning, with Stanford's double scull racing in heat 1 at 8:00 a.m. PT. Stanford's varsity four and varsity eight will follow suit, racing at 8:12 a.m. and 8:24 a.m. respectively.

Saturday's race results will determine lane assignments for Sunday's Grand Finals.

The IRA Championships can be streamed via the USRowing's YouTube page.
