STANFORD, Calif. – Sophomore Axel Geller is an Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-America selection, the group announced on Thursday.

Geller, Stanford's top player, completed the season ranked No. 15 in the final ITA singles poll. He was a First Team All-Pac-12 selection and a Second Team Pac-12 All-Academic pick. Earlier this month, he was chosen as the ITA's Player to Watch in the Northwest Region.

The sophomore owned a top-30 ranking in the ITA poll all season. He completed his second year on The Farm with a 17-7 overall record with a 10-6 mark in dual competition, playing all his matches at the No. 1 spot.

Geller also competed at No. 1 doubles, playing primarily with Alexandre Rotsaert. The duo was ranked No. 36 in the season's final ITA poll with an overall record of 13-6 and a dual mark of 10-5.

Among his many highlights this spring, Geller provided the clincher in a pair of Pac-12 road wins at No. 45 Oregon and Washington, including a three-set win over No. 14 Thomas Laurent of Oregon to give Stanford a 4-3 victory over the Ducks.
