CRCA Honor Roll

STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford was well represented among the CRCA (Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association) awards, receiving both All-America and Scholar-Athlete accolades.

The Cardinal was honored with five All-Americans and 11 Scholar-Athletes. CRCA All-Americans must have competed in at least 75 percent of the spring season's races in the varsity boat. The varsity eight boat's strength of finish and the individual's 2k erg score are also factored into the nomination process.2019 CRCA All-Americans

Stanford recorded a podium finish for the fourth time in six years, placing fourth at the NCAA Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Cardinal totaled 116 points, finishing fourth behind NCAA champion Washington (132), Texas (125) and Michigan (119), with Ohio State (105) rounding out the top five. Stanford also placed fourth in 2014, 2016 and 2018 while finishing sixth in both 2015 and 2017.

With its fourth-place finish in 2019, Stanford's varsity eight posted a top-five finish for the fifth consecutive season. The varsity eight placed second in 2017, third in 2016, fourth in 2018 and fifth in 2015. The varsity four placed second in its Grand Final, matching its best finish in program history.
