All-America Scholars

STANFORD, Calif. – Rising seniors Henry Shimp and David Snyder, and recent graduate Brandon Wu, have been selected Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars for 2018-19, it was announced Wednesday by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
 
To be eligible, an individual must be a junior or senior, participate in 50 percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 and maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2.
 
Shimp led 2019 NCAA-champion Stanford with a 3.68 grade-point average and is majoring in science, technology and society. He also earned Pac-12-All-Academic first team.
 
Snyder, a history major, compiled a 3.59 grade-point average, while Wu averaged 3.38 and graduated last month with a degree in product design. Both were named to the Pac-12 All-Academic second team.
