STANFORD, Calif. – Led by senior Audriana Fitzmorris, No. 2 Stanford women's volleyball swept Colorado, 25-22, 25-12, 25-14, Friday, at Maples Pavilion.
Fitzmorris led all players with 10 kills on .316 hitting to go with four digs, four blocks and a career-high three service aces.
Stanford (12-3, 6-1 Pac-12) hit .348 as a team, while holding Colorado (8-9, 0-7 Pac-12) to a .084 clip. It is the second time this season the Cardinal has held its opponent to under .100 hitting.
Senior setter Jenna Gray guided the offense with 37 assists and finished with six digs, four blocks and two kills. Selina Xu took over for Gray late in the third set and quickly set up Madeleine Gates for a kill. The freshman then went over on two on match point to end it with her first collegiate kill.
Stanford has won 15 straight sets, dating back to its match at Oregon on Oct. 4. The Cardinal finished with 9.0 blocks and five service aces against the Buffaloes.
Freshman outside hitter Kendall Kipp totaled nine kills on .333 hitting for Stanford, while junior Meghan McClure added seven kills and five digs. Gates finished with six kills on .357 hitting and a match-high six blocks. Sophomore middle blocker Holly Campbell had six kills on nine swings with just one error to hit .556.

In total, 13 Cardinal played in the match. Redshirt junior Michaela Keefe appeared in two sets and had a season-best four kills. Junior defensive specialist Kate Formico had a team-high nine digs, senior libero Morgan Hentz collected seven digs and four assists and senior Caitlin Keefe registered six digs.
Colorado senior Justine Spann had a team-high eight kills, but was held to a -.030 attack percentage. Freshman Parker Sterling hit .444 with six kills of the Buffaloes.
Stanford wraps up its four-match homestand on Sunday against No. 18 Utah. First serve is slated for 2 p.m. on Pac-12 Networks.
