STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford begins its quest for a third national championship on Friday when it plays host to Prairie View A&M at 7 p.m.
Stanford earned the No. 1 overall seed in the postseason tournament for the fourth consecutive year. This is the first-ever meeting between the two programs. Tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. PT on GoStanford.com.

Now, it's a matter of staying focused and moving forward one game at a time."
The Cardinal (18-1-0, 11-0-0) wrapped up a perfect record in Pac-12 play with a 4-0 win against California on Friday (Nov. 8). Stanford went undefeated in Pac-12 play for the 10th time, capturing its unprecedented fifth consecutive outright championships. The Knowles Family Director of Women's Soccer Paul Ratcliffe enters the postseason with a 47-12-4 record in postseason action, having guided the Cardinal to the NCAA Tournament in each of his 17 seasons on The Farm.
Should Stanford advance past the first round, the second- and third-round matches will be played at Cagan Stadium the weekend of Nov. 22-24 with the quarterfinal round, if necessary, slated for Nov. 29. Stanford has played host to the first four rounds of the tournament in ten of the last 11 seasons, advancing to the College Cup eight times during that span.
This is Stanford's 22nd-straight appearance in the NCAA tournament and 29th appearance, overall – the Cardinal has not missed the postseason tournament since 1997. Stanford has appeared in eight College Cups, including five straight from 2008-12, with its two national championships coming in 2011 and 2017.
