Five to Join Cardinal

STANFORD, Calif. – Three-time defending national champion Stanford women's swimming and diving added five members in the Class of 2024, as announced by Paul A. Violich Director of Women's Swimming Greg Meehan and associate head coach Tracy Slusser on Wednesday.

Stanford's incoming class consists of Isabel Gormley (New York, N.Y.), Lillie Nordmann (The Woodlands, Texas), Samantha Pearson (Irvine, Calif.), Janelle Rudolph (Bellevue, Wash.) and Regan Smith (Lakeville, Minn.).

"We are thrilled to announce our Card Class of 2020," said Meehan. "It's an incredibly talented group that hails from all over the United States. But talent aside, I've really enjoyed getting to know Regan, Lillie, Isabel, Sam and Janelle throughout this entire process. It's been very clear from the beginning how much they value the commitment to strong academics and swimming at the highest level, and that Stanford was the perfect place for each of them. It's also been fun to see the strong relationships they've already built with each other and how connected they will be as a class when they arrive on The Farm. I can't wait for them to join us next year!"
