- Stanford is opening its season with six consecutive home games for the first time since 2006, when the Cardinal produced a 5-1 record during that stretch.
- Having already matched its first 4-0 start since head coach Jerod Haase’s first season in 2016, Stanford is now seeking its first 5-0 start since 2011, when the Cardinal opened with victories over Central Arkansas, Fresno State, Colorado State, UC Davis and Oklahoma State.
- In addition to forcing 17.3 turnovers per game, Stanford has surrendered 65 points or fewer over a four-game stretch for the first time since March 2014. The Cardinal has allowed 59.5 points - a total which ranks second in the Pac-12 - while limiting opponents to 39.1 percent shooting overall and 27.9 percent from three-point territory.
- Freshman Tyrell Terry has been dynamic while igniting the offense, becoming the first Cardinal player to score in double figures over his first four games since Josh Childress’ four-game stretch as a rookie in 2001. Terry is averaging 15.0 points while shooting 46.7 percent overall and 94.1 percent (16-17) from the charity stripe.
- Since being inserted into the starting lineup over the last three games, freshman Spencer Jones (9.3 ppg, 3.5 rpg) has provided a spark from long distance. All 12 of Jones’ buckets have come from three-point range, where he is shooting a team-best 48.0 percent.
- Stanford is coming off an 82-64 win over Santa Clara, led by Tyrell Terry's career-high 21 points and Oscar da Silva's double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds. Lucas Kisunas produced career highs in points (8) and rebounds (10), pacing Stanford’s 38-31 edge on the glass. The Cardinal held a 36-20 points in the paint edge and scored 23 points off turnovers.
