COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Three more first-place finishes for No. 6 Stanford led the Cardinal on day two of the Art Adamson Invitational, including an NCAA A-cut qualification for the 800-yard freestyle relay.

Stanford leads the field with 894 points, ahead of second-place Texas A&M's 769.5, with one day of competition remaining.

With prelims on long course meters, plenty of Cardinal solidified their already-qualified Olympic Trials cut times, including first-place finishes for Brooke Forde in the 400m IM, Katie Drabot in the 200m free and Zoe Bartel in the 100m breast. 

Mia Paulsen kick started the finals with a win in the 3-meter dive, scoring 346.85, joined in the top-five finishers by Daria Lenz (third) and Carolina Sculti (fifth).

In the short-course yard racing lanes, the Cardinal was barely edged by USC in the 200-yard medley relay, posting a time of 1:37.43 from Alex Crisera, Allie Raab, Amalie Fackenthal and Anya Goeders.

Forde backed up her prelim success with a victory in the 400-yard IM, touching the wall in 4:03.86, over two seconds ahead of the runner-up. 

Fackenthal was the high scorer for the Cardinal in the 100-yard butterfly, finshing third, while three from Stanford scored in the A-final of the 200-yard freestyle, led by Drabot's second-place time of 1:44.38.

Bartel and Raab went two and three in the 100-yard breaststroke before the Cardinal exerted their strength in the final events of the evening. The 100-yard backstroke was claimed by Erin Voss with a time of 52.77, joined in the A-final by a third-place Crisera, a sixth-place Lucie Nordmann and a seventh-place touch from Fackenthal.

The Cardinal saved the best for last, earning an NCAA A-cut time in the 800-yard freestyle relay with a second-place time from Drabot, Lauren Pitzer, Morgan Tankersley and Forde of 7:00.51.

Stanford will close out the Art Adamson Invitational on Saturday, with prelims again starting at 8 a.m.
