All-Region Honors

STANFORD, Calif. - The Cardinal featured three Longstreth/NFHCA All-Region honorees, as Kelsey Bing and Corinne Zanolli were both named to the first-team in the West Region, while Fenella Scutt picked up a second-team nod.

Bing, a three-time America East Goalkeeper of the Year, started all but one game in the cage for the Cardinal, making 123 saves and boasting a 1.47 GAA, along with two shutouts and a .788 save percentage, the fifth-best mark in the nation. The only game Bing missed was a Senior Night victory on Nov. 1 against UC Davis, as she competed as the starting goalkeeper for Team USA in its International Hockey Federation (FIH) qualifier on Nov. 1-2 against India. It is Bing's fourth All-Region honor of her career, and second on the first-team.

Zanolli, named the America East Conference Offensive Player of the Year each of the last two seasons, finished the year tied for the nation's lead with 33 goals, averaging 1.43 per game, a mark that ranked second in the country. Zanolli has been named first-team All-Region all three years with the Cardinal and also ranked second nationally with 69 points in 2019. The junior produced six hat tricks this season, owning nine in her career, and led Stanford with eight game-winning goals.

Scutt, an America East West Division All-Conference honoree, started all 23 games for Stanford and made a name for herself as one of the nation's best distributors, ranking first in the country with 17 assists on the year. Scutt recorded an assist in over half of Stanford's 23 games in 2019, tying her career-high in September against Quinnipiac.

Stanford finished 2019 at 16-7 overall, advancing to its 17th NCAA Tournament following an America East Conference Tournament championship. The Cardinal picked up a win in the opening round against Miami (Ohio), before falling to No. 1 seed and eventual national champion, North Carolina.
