It is the second call-up to full national team training for Smith, who trained with the full national team in 2017. A member of the All-Pac-12 second team, Smith has scored 14 goals with eight assists in 2019, ranking 14th in the NCAA in goals per game (0.78).
Girma, Haley and Pickett will train with the full national team for the first time in their careers. Girma, a sophomore captain who has played nearly every minute of the season, was named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year after Stanford went 11-0-0 in Pac-12 play, allowing just four goals in such contests.
Pickett has started all 22 games for the Cardinal with a career-high eight assists. An All-Pac-12 first teamer, Pickett is a member of the United States U-20 national team.
Haley ranks second on the team in assists (10) and sixth in points (32), having appeared in all but one of Stanford's 22 matches this season.
