KAILUA KONA, HAWAII – Stanford Women's Golf closed out the fall portion of its schedule on Wednesday with a fifth-place finish at the Nanea Pac-12 Preview. The Cardinal won The Molly Intercollegiate to begin the fall behind senior Andrea Lee's school record-breaking ninth career victory. Lee and fellow senior Albane Valenzuela were at LPGA Q-Series for the Cardinal's next two events, a second-place finish at the Stanford Intercollegiate and this week's Pac-12 Preview.
 
T5. Stanford (+4, 294-291-295=880)
T10. Aline Krauter (-2, 72-70-75=217)
Made seven straight pars to begin the round before a birdie moved her to -5 … had back-to-back double bogeys to fall slightly out of contention for individual medalist honors, but rebounded nicely with five straight pars before a birdie to finish the round … has a 3.91 scoring average on the Par 4's, second-best in the field this week … finished the tournament with 13 birdies, tied for third-most in the field.
 
T13. Angelina Ye (-1, 72-75-71=218)
Had the best Cardinal round on the day at 2-under … started on No. 7 and began with three straight pars … had a bogey at 10 and 14, but birdies on Nos. 12, 13 and 16 … finished with seven pars and a birdie on her final eight holes … played the Par 5's a -4 for the week, tied for sixth-best in the tournament.
 
T25. Ziyi Wang (+4, 76-72-75=223)
Made three birdies against five bogeys in Wednesday's round to finish 2-over on the day.
 
T30. Calista Reyes (+6, 74-74-77=225)
Had three birdies against five bogeys and a double during Wednesday's round … has a 2.89 scoring average of the Par 3's, tied for third-best in the field.
 
T32. Mika Liu (+7, 77-75-74=226)
Began on No. 10 and played the back nine at even-par, with seven pars, one birdie and one bogey … doubled No. 3 before consecutive birdies on Nos. 4 and 5 … finished with a bogey on No. 9.
 
As a team, Stanford stood out on the Par 5's, shooting -15 for the second-best scoring average in the field on such holes throughout the week. The Cardinal will return to action to begin its spring schedule in February at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge.
