STANFORD, Calif. - Saturday's match between No. 4 Stanford and No. 9 Texas was cancelled due to rain.
It would have been the second meeting this season between the Cardinal (6-1) and Longhorns (5-2), as Stanford prevailed 4-3 in the quarterfinals of the ITA National Team Indoor Championships three weeks ago in Seattle, Washington.
Instead, both teams were denied an opportunity to battle another top-10 opponent before conference play.
Stanford has already had three matches affected by rain. The Cardinal's contest against UC Davis was moved to March 25 while its Feb. 15 matchup against Santa Clara has yet to be rescheduled.
The Cardinal opens Pac-12 competition on Sunday, March 10, at Oregon.
