STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford will face Oklahoma in its opening game of the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame Classic on Monday, Nov. 25, at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
The Cardinal will face the Sooners at 6:30 p.m. PT on ESPN2. The other opening-round game features Butler against Missouri at 4:00 p.m. PT. The winners of Monday's games will face each other in the Hall of Fame Classic Championship Game on Tuesday, Nov. 26, at 6:30 p.m. PT on ESPN2. The consolation game will be played prior to the title game matchup on ESPNews.
The Hall of Fame Classic is part of Hall of Fame Weekend, which also includes the 14th annual induction ceremony for the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame. Cardinal great Todd Lichti is part of a prestigious 2019 class that includes Indiana's Calbert Cheaney, Duke's Shane Battier, Purdue's Terry Dischinger, Providence's Ernie DiGregorio, UNLV's Larry Johnson, and former coaches Homer Drew, Lute Olson and the late Rick Majerus That event will take place on Sunday, Nov. 24 in Kansas City.

Stanford is 2-1 all-time against Oklahoma, with its last meeting against the Sooners coming in the 1997 NCAA Tournament in Tucson, Arizona. Oklahoma marks the second Big 12 opponent on Stanford's schedule this season. The Cardinal hosts Kansas at Maples Pavilion on Sunday, Dec. 29.
The November tournament in Kansas City will be Stanford's second appearance in the Hall of Fame Classic. The Cardinal was part of the 2006 tournament, then named the CBE Classic. The Cardinal fell to Air Force in the second round of the 2006 tournament.
Stanford opens its 2019-20 campaign against Montana on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at Maples Pavilion. The full schedule, including conference dates and times, and television information will be announced in September.
