Stanford Women's Golf departs on Saturday for a week-long trip to the birthplace of golf, Scotland. During the trip, the Cardinal will have the opportunity to play several courses while also touring and learning about several historical landmarks around Scotland.
Cardinal fans can follow the trip throughout. Senior Madie Chou will be taking followers behind-the-scenes with an Instagram Story takeover. Follow that on Instagram @StanfordWGolf. The Cardinal depart on Saturday and arrive at the Edinburgh Airport on Sunday morning, followed by sightseeing at the Edinburgh Castle. On Monday, the Cardinal will play the Gullane Golf Club – No. 2 Course in the morning followed by afternoon tee times at the North Berwick Golf Club.
On Tuesday, the team will have time in the morning to see the sights in Edinburgh before transferring to St. Andrews for a round at the Lundin Golf Club on Wednesday. On Thursday, the Cardinal will play a match vs. St. Andrews University at The Castle Course followed by a guided tour of St. Andrews Castle, Cathedral and University on Friday morning. Friday afternoon, Stanford will play at the Kinsbarns Golf Links.
On Saturday, the Cardinal will have the opportunity to spend the day at The Solheim Cup before departing for home on Sunday, Sept. 15.
