ITA Kickoff Weekend

  • Stanford enters the ITA Kickoff as the No. 11 team in the country, and the third-highest ranked team in the Pac-12. The Cardinal takes on Tulane in the first round before facing No. 13 California or Miami on Sunday.
  • Alexandre Rotsaert paced the squad last weekend at the Sherwood Cup, where he won four consecutive bouts to advance to the championship. The final match appearance marked the second-straight year Rotsaert reached the Sherwood Cup finale.
  • Facing off with UC Davis on Jan. 10, Stanford remained undefeated in its series history (6-0) with a 4-0 triumph. Stanford has won 13 consecutive openers.
  • The team finished a successful fall slate at the ITA Fall Championships with a second round appearance for Sangeet Sridhar. Rotsaert kicked off the 2019-20 campaign with a semifinals showing at the ITA All-American Championships.
  • The Cardinal is 3-0 in program history against Tulane, and is also undefeated at 8-0 against potential second-round foe Miami. Stanford would look for its 95th victory over California should the teams meet on Sunday.
  • Paul Goldstein, the Taube Family Director of Men's Tennis, stands just six victories away from becoming the fourth head coach in program history to reach 100 career wins.
