STANFORD, Calif. - No. 6 Stanford swept No. 19 Tufts 9-0 in its lone home match of the season on Wednesday evening.
The Cardinal (2-2), which comfortably won all nine matches in straight sets, was opening its winter season and competing for the first time since its late-November road swing that included a 5-4 victory over No. 7 Penn.
Stanford returns to action Jan. 17, squaring off against Cornell in the first of three-game trip to New York.
