STANFORD, Calif. - No. 3 Stanford blanked UC Davis 7-0 on Friday afternoon at Taube Family Tennis Stadium.
The Cardinal (6-1), which posted its third shutout of the season, has now won 66 of its last 69 home matches.
After quickly securing the doubles point for a 1-0 lead, the Cardinal picked up a pair of victories lower in the lineup from Emma Higuchi and Sara Choy.
The clincher came from Michaela Gordon, who won 6-0, 6-2 at the top spot, before the Cardinal converted the shutout.
Stanford returns to action next weekend, traveling to Austin, Texas, to face TCU on Feb. 21 and Texas on Feb. 22.
