STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford claimed first overall with a score of 101 when it beat University of Incarnate Word (88) and Colorado State (44.5) in a two-day event over the weekend.
Before the competition began, Stanford honored its three seniors, Natalie Fletcher, Karen Li and Lily Randhawa, for all their contributions to the program.
In the team competition, Stanford (82.4333) finished ahead of Incarnate Word by 2.4333 points.
Jacklyn Luu was the high scorer in the solo competition with a score of 82.4000.
Stanford placed first and second in the duet competition, led by Hailee Heinrich and Caitlin Klauer (82.3000).
The trio of Grace Alwan, Hailee Heinrich, and Caitlin Klauer earned the top spot in the trio competition with a score of 80.9667.
Stanford is back in action when it travels to Mesa, AZ on March 6-7 to compete in the Western Regionals with the hopes of qualifying for Collegiate Nationals.
