Continuing with Cal State Northridge

STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford men's basketball has added a nonconference game to its schedule, traveling to Cal State Northridge on Tuesday, Dec. 15. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m., and will be broadcast on ESPN3.

The Cardinal (2-2), temporarily relocating and training through Dec. 21, opened its season with an appearance in the Camping World Maui Invitational, including an 82-64 win over No. RV/25 Alabama in the opening round. The Cardinal was slated to open Pac-12 play on Sunday, but its contest with USC was postponed.

Stanford will be just the second Pac-12 opponent that CSUN has hosted in its history, joining Cal in 1995. The Matadors are 5-58 all-time against Pac-12 schools, including a forfeit by Cal in the 1995 game in Northridge. Stanford is 5-0 in the all-time in the series, with the Cardinal prevailing 96-69 in the last meeting on Nov. 15, 2016 at Maples Pavilion.

Additional scheduling updates will be provided as they become available.
