Weekend Sweep

STANFORD, Calif. - Make it five in a row for the Cardinal, as No. 2 Stanford dismantled No. 13 Indiana for the second time in as many days, 15-5 at Avery Aquatic Center.

It was again Sarah Klass leading the way offensively, following up a career-high performance on Saturday with another four goals on Sunday. She was joined with four from Hannah Shabb as well.

Stanford got out to another quick start against the Hoosiers with two goals from Shabb within the first two minutes of play. Sophie Wallace followed that up with a goal of her own, before Klass joined in on the party for a 4-1 lead. 

IU would get as close at within two goals, both at 4-2 and 5-3, but the Cardinal would go on a massive run, spanning the between the end of the first half all the way until the fourth period. Stanford scored eight straight goals from six different players to lock away the victory. 

Klass was unbeaten in sprints, and Stanford had nearly a 54 percent shooting percentage.
