STANFORD, Calif. – Adding its third prospect to the class of 2021, Stanford men's basketball has announced the signing of Jarvis Moss. His addition gives Stanford its third top-20 recruiting class in the last four years, rated as No. 14 by Rivals and No. 17 by 247Sports.
"Jarvis is an all-around guard and one of the best shooters in this class," said Jerod Haase, the Anne and Tony Joseph Director of Men's Basketball. "He has great size at the guard spot and has the ability to not only catch and shoot, but make plays off the bounce."
Moss is a consensus three-star recruit from the Cannon School in Concord, North Carolina. He led the program to back-to-back NCISAA State and CISAA Conference championships, and was unanimously selected as the CISAA Conference Player of the Year this past season. He was a first team all-state honoree, and a McDonald's All-American nominee.
The program's all-time record holder for 3-pointers in a season and in a career, Moss posted averages of 26 points, five rebounds and four assists per game while shooting 43 percent from 3-point range in 2020-21.
"He will be an exceptional teammate and has a tremendous work ethic that will lead to success both on and off the court," continued Haase. "We are so excited for Jarvis' future and he will be a big part of this program moving forward."
He joins Harrison Ingram, a consensus top-15 recruit and McDonald's All-American, and Isa Silva, a consensus top-50 recruit, in the Stanford class of 2021.
