STANFORD, Calif. – Senior Kyler Presho hit a season-high .684, leading Stanford in a 25-23, 19-25, 26-24, 25-14 win over Concordia, Friday, at Maples Pavilion.
Stanford (2-13) hit a season-high .333 as a team and held Concordia (3-10) to a .236 clip. The Cardinal also posted a season-best 13.5 blocks and collected 45 digs.
Presho finished with 14 kills on 19 swings with just one error and registered a season-high seven blocks. Sophomore Will Rottman also posted 14 kills to go with five digs, three blocks, an ace and an assist.

Sophomore setter Nathan Lietzke controlled the offense with a career-high 46 assists and also registered career-bests in digs (9) and blocks (6). Redshirt sophomore libero Justin Lui anchored the defense with a season-best 13 digs.
With the match tied 1-1, Stanford led for the majority of the third set. However, Concordia stormed back to take a 24-23 lead before the Cardinal reeled off three straight to win the set.
Sophomore middle blocker Nathaniel Gates hit .455 with six kills on 11 swings with just one error. He also had a career-high six blocks, including two solo. Freshman outside hitter Aidan Peters matched his career-high with 12 kills to go with six digs, three blocks and an ace for the Cardinal, while freshman outside hitter Luke Turner added nine kills, seven digs and an ace.

Stanford sided out at a rate of 62 percent for the match. The Cardinal hit .417 in the fourth, while holding the Eagles to a .000 attack percentage in the set.
Concordia was led by Raymond Barsemian's match-best 22 kills on .312 hitting, while Jordan Hoppe chipped in with 16 kills for the Eagles.
Stanford and Concordia meet again on Saturday at 4 p.m. in Maples Pavilion.
