Booker Highlights Preseason Team

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – The Pac-12 Conference announced the media's preseason poll on Tuesday morning, as well as the Preseason All-Pac-12 teams, prior to the kickoff of the conference's media day.

For Stanford, Thomas Booker highlighted the Preseason All-Pac-12 team, as he was named to the first team at both the defensive line spot, as well as the all-purpose/special teams spot. Last season, Booker was a first-team performer at the all-purpose/special teams spot and second team at the defensive line spot.

Five other Cardinal were named honorable mention by the media: RB Austin Jones, DB Kyu Blu Kelly, OL Walter Rouse, P Ryan Sanborn and WR Michael Wilson.

Booker and Wilson are Stanford's two student-athlete representatives at Tuesday's media day.

The media also voted the Cardinal fourth in the Pac-12 North Division behind Oregon, Washington and Cal. Stanford ended the 2020 season on a four-game winning streak, all on the road, defeating Cal, No. 23 Washington, Oregon State and UCLA.
