• For the first time in over 660 days, Stanford will return home to play in front of fans at Stanford Stadium. The Cardinal last played in front of fans on Nov. 30, 2019 vs. Notre Dame, playing just one home game (Nov. 14, 2020 vs. Colorado) in the last 665 days.
• Stanford concluded its school-record, seven-game road trip with a 6-1 record. More impressive is that the Cardinal went 6-0 in true road games during that stretch, with its lone loss coming vs. K-State at AT&T Stadium.
• Stanford was the only Power Five program to begin the season with two straight games away from home, let alone three.
• Bradford M. Freeman Director of Football David Shaw is in his 11th season at the helm of the Cardinal. Shaw owns a 92-37 (.713) career record, making him the winningest coach in program history. Shaw’s 92 wins are tied for 12th-most in conference history.
• Since the start of the 2010 season, Stanford is 53-13 (.803) at Stanford Stadium.
• The Cardinal improved to 34-0 on Saturday night when scoring 40-or-more points under Shaw. Stanford is also 81-18 when allowing fewer than 30 points under Shaw.
• Following its 42-28 win at No. 14 USC on Sept. 11, Stanford is 28-20 against Top 25 foes under David Shaw and has defeated at least one Top-20 opponent on the road in eight of Shaw’s 11 seasons.
• Since Shaw took over, Stanford is 32-8 against programs from California, including 26-7 against Pac-12 foes from the state (Cal, UCLA, USC).
• Stanford and UCLA will meet for the 93rd time in series history on Saturday at Stanford Stadium. Stanford has won 12 of the last 13 over the Bruins and is 43-46-3 all-time vs. the Bruins.
• David Shaw named QB Tanner McKee the starter prior to the victory at USC, and the sophomore has quickly taken control of the Cardinal offense.
• In his first two starts, McKee is 35-of-52 (67.3%) for 452 yards and six total touchdowns (four passing, two rushing). McKee’s six total touchdowns in his first two starts are the most by a Cardinal quarterback, surpassing Davis Mills (5) and Kevin Hogan (5).
• Through three games, Brycen Tremayne leads the Cardinal with 13 receptions for 165 yards and three touchdowns. For his career, Tremayne has 30 catches, 22 of which have gone for touchdowns (6) or first downs (16).
