  • Stanford women's golf hosts the Stanford Intercollegiate at Stanford Golf Course beginning Friday. The three-day, 54-hole event is hosted by Dr. Condoleezza Rice. The event is free to spectators, who are encouraged to wear a mask and maintain appropriate distance from the golfers and other spectators. Masks are required when indoors. 
  • The Cardinal is ranked No. 1 in the latest Golfstat Top 25 and No. 2 in the most recent Golfweek rankings. This weekend's field features three Top-10 teams and eight Top-25 programs. 
  • All 10 of Stanford's golfers will compete, comprised of two teams. One of Stanford's teams will feature a lineup of Rose Zhang, Aline Krauter, Rachel Heck, Angelina Ye and Caroline Sturdza, while the other Cardinal team will have a lineup of Brookse Seay, Sadie Englemann, Calista Reyes,, Rebecca Becht and Yu Wen Lu.
  • All 10 of Stanford's golfers will tee off No. 1 on Friday for round one beginning at 7:30 a.m. PT, while all 10 will begin off No. 10 at 11:10 a.m. on Saturday for round two. Sunday's final round will be a shotgun start beginning at 8:30 a.m.
  • The Cardinal will host, in alphabetical order (Golfweek rankings): No. 19 Arizona State, No. 41 Cal, No. 54 Colorado, No. 17 Georgia, No. 25 Iowa State, No. 36 Northwestern, No. 5 Oregon, No. 48 Oregon State, No. 69 Pepperdine, No. 18 San Jose State, No. 8 Texas, UC Davis, No. 15 UCLA, No. 35 USC, No. 45 Washington and No. 53 Washington State. 
  • Freshman Rose Zhang has won each of her first two collegiate starts, also guiding the Cardinal to team victories at both the Molly Intercollegiate and Windy City Collegiate. She is the No. 1 women's amateur in the world. Senior Aline Krauter has opened the season with back-to-back Top 10s. Sophomore Rachel Heck won six times last season as a freshman, en route to multiple Player of the Year honors and an NCAA individual title. Junior Angelina Ye won the 2019 Stanford Intercollegiate and finished tied for third at last season's NCAA Championships. Freshman Carolina Sturdza finished tied for second at the Molly Intercollegiate, her first collegiate event.
