COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Three Stanford men's swim and dive athletes have been selected to the CSCAA top 100 list. Jeff Kostoff, Jeff Rouse, and Pablo Morales all were named to the list due to their incredible achievements as collegiate swimmers at Stanford.
Out of almost 3000 nominees and a selection of 973 finalists, the three Stanford athletes are among some of the best swimmers and divers in history on this list.

Jeff Kostoff
A 1987 graduate of Stanford, Jeff Kostoff captured five individual NCAA titles, three in the 1,650 free in 1984, 1986 and 1987, and two in the 400 IM in 1985 and 1987. Kostoff was part of a team that won four Pac-10 championships from 1984-87, and three NCAA championships from 1985-87.
Kostoff also represented the United States at two consecutive Summer Olympics. At the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, he finished in sixth place in the final of the men's 400 IM. Four years later at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea, he advanced to the B Final of the 400 IM and finished ninth overall.
Jeff Rouse
A 1992 graduate of Stanford, team captain Jeff Rouse captained Stanford to an NCAA championship in 1992 and won seven NCAA event Championships during his career. He took home titles in the 100 back in 1990 and 1992, the 200 back in 1989 and 1992, the 200 IM in 1992, as well as the 400 free and 200 medley relays in 1992.
Rouse also represented the United States in two consecutive Olympic Games in 1992 and 1996. At the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain, he won a gold medal swimming for the winning U.S. team in the men's 400 medley relay. Individually, he also received a silver medal for his performance in the men's 100 back. Four years later at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, he earned a gold medal as a member of the first-place U.S. team in the men's 400 medley relay. In individual competition, he took home another gold medal in the men's 100 back.
Pablo Morales
A 1987 graduate of Stanford, Pablo Morales captured 11 event NCAA Championships and was part of a Stanford team that won three NCAA Championships. He collected the NCAA title in the 100 fly and 200 fly in each of his four years at Stanford (from 1984-1987) as well as three 200 IM NCAA titles and three 400 medley relay titles in consecutive years (from 1985-1987).
Morales set world records in the 100 fly in 1984 and 1986. He was the 100 fly gold medalist at the 1992 Olympic Games, and also won the 400 medley relay gold medals at both the 1984 and 1992 Olympics. He took home the 100 fly and 400 medley relay gold medals at the 1986 World Championships.
