STANFORD, Calif. - For the fifth year in a row, at least three Cardinal earned All-American honors from The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC).
AJ Rossman (first team), Tyler Abramson (second team), Nolan Krutonog (honorable mention) and Quinn Woodhead (honorable mention) each picked up national accolades after Stanford finished its season with an overall record of 19-6, ending the season No. 4 in the country.
Rossman, now a three-time All-American with first-team honors in back-to-back seasons, finished with 32 goals on the year as a two-meter defender. He was one of five Cardinal with at least 10 multi-goal performances, including a season-high three goals in two different games: against Princeton and USC. He owns 90 goals in his career.
Abramson ends his career with the Cardinal as one of the best to ever compete on The Farm, becoming the 15th in program history to earn All-America honors four different times. He led Stanford with 52 goals on the year, ranking second in the MPSF, including 17 multi-goal performances. His 207 career goals rank sixth all-time at Stanford.
Krutonog manned the goal all season for the Cardinal, starting all but two games this season. He finished with 201 saves on the year, ranking second in the MPSF, averaging nearly 10 a game, with a goals against average just above nine. His best performance of the year came in an overtime loss to California in the regular season with 18 saves.
Woodhead is now a three-time All-American, earning honorable mention status each of the last two seasons. He ranked second on the team with 45 goals, good for fifth in the MPSF, including 13 multi-goal performances. His 94 career goals are second among active members of the team, while he and Abramson both featured four-goal games on two different occasions this season.
