Quarterback Davis Mills was again sensational for the Texans, validating the faith the organization placed in him. The rookie starter completed 78.6% (21-27) of his passes for 254 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in a 41-29 win over the Chargers. Mills' passer rating of 130.6 is his second game with a passer rating of 130+ this season – more than any other rookie quarterback combined.

Tight end Zach Ertz made eight receptions for 54 yards while playing 97% of Arizona's offensive snaps on Christmas Day. It was Ertz' second straight game with eight receptions.

Bingham Baller
Tight end Dalton Schultz was second on the Cowboys with 82 receiving yards in a 56-14 rout over Washington. Schultz caught eight of his nine targets and had a touchdown – his sixth of the season. His impressive performance came in only 2.5 quarters of play, and he ranks third among NFL tight ends with 69 receptions. His catch rate of 78.4% leads all tight ends this season

Safety Justin Reid made seven tackles in a start for the Texans. He also made a goal line stop on a two-point conversion attempt in the second half during Houston's 41-29 win.

Homecoming
With the Texans set to play the San Francisco 49ers, a pair of former Cardinal players will be making their return to the Bay Area. Davis Mills and Justin Reid will be playing their first NFL games at Levi's Stadium, Sunday at 1:05 p.m.

- Cornerback Paulson Adebo made three tackles and held Miami's Devante Parker to zero receptions in a start on Monday Night Football.
- J.J. Arcega-Whiteside recovered a fumble and made a special teams tackle in a 34-10 win over the Giants. The Eagles receiver played 61% of the team's special teams snaps and 21% of the offensive snaps. Arcega-Whiteside graded at 70.6 on special teams according to PFF.
- Jake Bailey averaged 52.7 yards per punt off three punts, with a long of 61. He also handled four kickoffs for the Patriots with two touchbacks in a loss to the Bills.
- Rookie offensive lineman Drew Dalman played four special teams snaps in a 20-16 win over the Lions.
- Nate Herbig made his third start along the offensive line in the last four games for the Philadelphia Eagles. Herbig played 56 of 63 offensive snaps before leaving the game late with an injury.
- Austin Hooper returned from COVID reserve, making three receptions for 26 yards on Christmas Day.
- Rookie Walker Little played three offensive snaps for the Jaguars.
- Josh Mauro was elevated from the Cardinals' practice squad on Christmas Day, making a fourth-quarter sack in his first action since Week 9.
- Ty Montgomery had a 26-yard kickoff return while playing 46% of the Saints' snaps on offense and 65% of snaps on special teams on Monday Night Football.
- Offensive lineman Kyle Murphy was signed to the practice squad for the Saints and elevated to the active roster on Monday. He played three snaps on offense in his first regular season appearance since 2017.
- Linebacker Bobby Okereke recorded a 81.2 tackling grade from PFF, making eight tackles with a QB hurry as the Colts defeated the Cardinals 22-16 on Christmas Day to keep their playoff hopes alive.
- Tight end Colby Parkinson was targeted once and had a 16-yard kickoff return for the Seahawks. He played 39% of offensive snaps and 48% of special teams snaps.
- Harrison Phillips started and made six tackles with two QB hurries in Buffalo's 33-21 win over the Patriots to move into first place in the AFC East.
- Jordan Richards was elevated to the active roster and made a special teams tackle playing 88% of Baltimore's special teams snaps. Richards graded at 74.0 on special teams according to PFF.
- Curtis Robinson made his debut with the San Francisco 49ers after being elevated from the practice squad on Thursday. Robinson played 13 snaps - more than half of San Francisco's special teams snaps.
- Richard Sherman played three defensive snaps for the Buccaneers in a limited return from injury.
- Michael Thomas made a tackle in his lone defensive snap, and he played 58% of the Bengals' special teams snaps in a 41-21 win over the Ravens. Thomas graded at 72.7 on special teams according to PFF.
- Defensive tackle Solomon Thomas made two tackles with a QB hurry in a 17-13 win over the Broncos.
- Casey Toohill made three tackles with two QB hurries.
- James Vaughters had a QB hit on 11 defensive snaps and also played nine snaps on special teams.
- Cameron Flemming (Broncos) did not play and Trenton Irwin (Bengals) was inactive.
- Simi Fehoko (Cowboys) missed Sunday's game while on the COVID reserve list.
