Homestand Wraps with UCLA

SETTING THE SCENE
Stanford hosts No. 12/12 UCLA at Maples Pavilion on Tuesday night, bringing a close to its four-game homestand while playing the sixth of eight games over a 17-day stretch. The game tips at 8 p.m. on ESPN2.

THE OPENING TIP
• Stanford is 14-8 (7-5 Pac-12) overall, with conference wins over Oregon, USC (twice), Washington State, Arizona State, Cal and Washington. 
• Harrison Ingram and Jaiden Delaire lead the team with 11.2 points per game, while Ingram has a team-best 6.7 rebounds per night. Michael O’Connell paces the squad with 3.9 assists per night.
• The Cardinal earned its fourth quadrant one win on Jan. 27 vs. USC, and is one of 25 teams nationally to meet that threshold. Stanford is one of two Pac-12 teams with four wins in the top tier, joining Arizona.
• Stanford is 10-2 at home this season, with six of the wins coming in double-digit fashion. The Cardinal remained unbeaten in November home games since 2018 (12-0), and got off to a 7-0 start at home for the second time in three seasons. The Cardinal is 5-2 in home Pac-12 games, including a buzzer-beating win over Oregon on Dec. 12 and an upset over then-No. 5 USC on Jan. 11.
• The Cardinal has outrebounded its opponent in 20 of 22 games this season, posting a plus-8.2 margin on the glass, which is eighth-best nationally. Stanford ranks in the top-20 nationally in offensive rebound 18th, 35.0%) and defensive rebound percentage (11th, 77.7%) per KenPom.

LAST TIME OUT
Playing its third home game in six days, Stanford picked up an 87-69 victory over Washington on Sunday, Feb. 6. Jaiden Delaire led the Cardinal with 18 points, to go along with season-highs of eight rebounds and three assists, while James Keefe scored a career-high 17 points and Harrison Ingram pitched in his fifth double-double of the year with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Spencer Jones rounded out a quartet in double figures with 12 points, while Michael O’Connell dished a game-high six assists. The 87 points was Stanford’s highest regulation total this season, including its highest-scoring first half of the year (46).
