STANFORD, Calif. – The push for the playoffs continues in the NBA, with just a month to go until the end of the regular season. Six Stanford alumni have suited up in the League this season, with four making recent impacts for the Bucks, Grizzlies, Mavericks and Magic.

Stanford is one of 12 programs nationally with a player drafted in each of the last three seasons, while a plethora of alumni are competing professionally around the world.

Ziaire Williams | Memphis Grizzlies

The fifth top-10 and lottery pick in program history, Williams was selected with the 10th overall selection in the 2021 NBA Draft, eventually heading to the Memphis Grizzlies via trade. Williams averages 7.7 points and 2.0 rebounds per game across 49 appearances, seeing 21.8 minutes per night for a 47-22 Grizzlies squad that sits second in the West. The former five-star recruit has started his last 27 appearances, with Memphis going 19-8 over those games. Williams improves his scoring average to 9.6 points per game as a starter, and has been in double figures in 14 times.

He is on his way to posting his fourth-straight season with an offensive rating of 130 or higher, and is coming off a career-high tying 26 points on March 11 against Houston. The Mavericks are fifth in the West at 42-26.

The 2021 NBA Champion has returned in time to make an impact for Milwaukee, scoring six points in his return on March 14. The Bucks are second in the Eastern Conference with a 43-26 overall record. Lopez holds career averages of 16.5 points and 6.3 rebounds per game and is in his fourth season in Milwaukee.

Robin Lopez | Orlando Magic
