FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - Four divers secured spots at the NCAA Championships later this month after strong performances on the final day of the NCAA Diving Zone E meet today.
Conor Casey and Jack Ryan will compete in the 1-meter in Atlanta while Julia Wortman and Daria Lenz earned spots in the platform competition.
Julia Wortman (500.05) finished eighth overall on the women's platform, securing one of the automatic spots in the event at the NCAA Championships.
Daria Lenz (472.10), who already qualified for the 1-meter and 3-meter earned an automatic place in the platform competition by taking 11th overall in the event.
Conor Casey (795.90) followed up his Pac-12 title on the 1-meter last month with a first place finish at the Zone E meet. Jack Ryan (709.35) was the next top finisher for the Cardinal, taking fourth.
Both Casey and Ryan now boast a spot in the NCAA Championships in both the 1-meter and 3-meter competitions.
Hunter Hollenbeck (589.50) and Ethan Foster (584.35) also qualified for the finals in the 3-meter.
The Stanford Women's Swimming and Diving Team will be back in action at the NCAA Championships from March 16-19. The men's team will return to competition for the same meet from March 23-26.
