COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Seven Stanford Artistic Swimming student-athletes have been named All-Americans by USA Artistic Swimming. The Cardinal put on an impressive display at the Collegiate Nationals in Columbus, Ohio last month, setting the stage for the seven selections.
Nicole Goot, Jacklyn Luu, Emmanuella Tchakmakjian, Lindi Schroeder, Ava Jih-Schiff, Audrey Nguyen, and Hailee Heinrich made up the selections for Staonfrd. Each athlete competed at the Collegiate Nationals, featuring in at least two events. Every All-American for Stanford took part in the team competition and the figure A technical competition.
The same seven student-athletes earned inaugural All-MPSF honors following the first ever MPSF Championships. Nicole Goot and head coach Megan Abarca also swept the individual awards in the conference meet, with Nicole Goot earning Swimmer of the Meet and Newcomer of the Meet while Abarca took home Coach of the Meet.
