STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford will have representation at the 2022 NCAA singles and doubles championships, as Arthur Fery will participate in the singles draw and the duo of Fery and Alexandre Rotsaert will compete in doubles. Additionally, the tandem of Axel Geller and Tomas Kopczynski was selected as an alternate for the doubles event.
Fery has enjoyed a breakout sophomore campaign, which included a two-week stretch in February as the nation's top-ranked singles player. The Wimbledon, United Kingdom native holds a 20-6 singles mark, including a 10-4 record in dual action.
Rotsaert holds a 30-10 doubles mark this season, including a team-leading 20-6 mark as a pair with Fery. The duo has been ranked as high as No. 6 in the country this season, and spent a majority of the season ranked inside the ITA top-10.
The pair of Geller and Kopczynski enter the team NCAA Tournament ranked 43rd nationally, holding an 8-4 record together, including seven dual wins.
The singles and doubles competition will be conducted May 23-28 at the Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex in Champaign, Illinois, after the conclusion of the team championship, which runs from May 19-22.
