Field Hockey Unveils 2022 Schedule

STANFORD, Calif. – Set for another year of America East action coupled with a challenging non-conference schedule, Stanford field hockey has announced its 2022 schedule. The campaign includes six home games at the Varsity Turf.

"We are thrilled to host six home games this season and thank those teams for understanding the importance of competing in California," said head coach Roz Ellis. "We have welcomed eight new CARD to our squad, we are really excited to continue building on our growth from this year. Our team had a beneficial spring of training, leading into a summer of recharge before preseason."

The season gets underway on home on August 26, as Stanford welcomes Holy Cross for a noon contest. The first road action will be at Maryland on August 29, which precedes three consecutive home contests from Sept. 2-11. Indiana and Michigan State trek to California on Sept. 2 and 4, respectively, while the Cardinal hosts North Carolina on Sept. 11 on Pac-12 Networks.

America East play gets underway on Sept. 16 at UMass Lowell, which starts a stretch of six straight outings away from The Farm. Vermont (Sept. 18) and UC Davis (Sept. 25) follow before a brief interlude to league games, as Stanford heads to Syracuse on Oct. 5. Albany (Oct. 7) and Bryant (Oct. 9, neutral site) wrap up the extended trip away from the Bay Area.

Stanford welcomes rival California on Oct. 14 for Senior Day, with the game airing on Pac-12 Networks, while James Madison wraps up the home schedule on Thursday, Oct. 20. The final non-conference trip is to Richmond on Oct. 23 before the America East season wraps up Oct. 28 and 30 at Maine and New Hampshire, respectively.

A full schedule featuring game times and broadcast information will be released closer to the start of the season.
 

2022 Schedule
