- Defending national champion and No. 1 Stanford women's golf begins its 2022 season at the Carmel Cup this weekend. The three-day, 54-hole event will be played at Pebble Beach Golf Links, a Par-72, 6,156-yard setup.
- Stanford's lineup will be Rose Zhang, Rachel Heck, Brooke Seay, Megha Ganne, Caroline Sturdza and Sadie Englemann. The event is a play-six, count five format.
- In addition to the Cardinal, the other seven teams in the field are Arkansas, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and Vanderbilt.
