PROVIDENCE, R.I. - No. 4 Stanford wrapped up its opening weekend with another pair of decisive victories on Sunday, defeating No. 19 Brown 22-7 followed by a 26-10 win over No. 20 St. Francis Brooklyn.
The Cardinal improves to 4-0 on the year and has featured goals from 15 different players so far.

The Cardinal faced its first deficit of the season early on against the Bears, a 2-1 score in the first quarter, but quickly turned on the jets and never looked back. Stanford's first eight goals were all scored by different players as the Cardinal held a 10-4 lead at halftime.
Redshirt freshman Grant Watson made a big impact for the Cardinal, scoring five goals. In fact, all of Stanford's goal scorers featured multi-goal efforts.

The Terriers provided more of an offensive threat than any competition Stanford had seen so far this weekend, but conversely, the Cardinal was dynamic on its own offensive end, featuring 13 different goal scorers.
Soren Jensen produced a career-high hat trick, along with Jackson Painter, Riley Pittman, Larsen Weigle and Quinn Woodhead. Speedy Laster also joined a group of five players scoring their first career goals during opening weekend for Stanford.
