Cincinnati starting wide receiver Trenton Irwin had two receptions for 58 yards in the Bengals' 23-10 victory over visiting Cleveland. In the third quarter with the Bengals nursing a 10-point lead, quarterback Joe Burrow handed off up the middle to Joe Mixon, who flipped the ball back to Burrow, who unleashed a deep pass to a wide-open Irwin for a 45-yard score for a 20-3 lead. The flea flicker was the game's longest play. Irwin played 56 (84 percent) of the Bengals' offensive plays and one special teams snap. Teammate Michael Thomas played 18 special teams snaps.

San Francisco starting running back Christian McCaffrey scored two touchdowns – on a 27-yard pass from Brock Purdy and on a 38-yard run – to lead the 49ers to a 35-7 victory over the visiting Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This is McCaffrey's 11th career game with both a rushing and receiving touchdown, tying Jim Brown for 4th-most all-time. The only players with more are Marshall Faulk (15), Lenny Moore (12) and Brian Westbrook (12).

McCaffrey rushed for 119 yards on 14 carries and caught two passes for 34 yards. McCaffrey, who played 44 snaps, is fifth in the NFL in all-purpose yardage with 1,440. No one else in the league has at least 800 rushing yards and 500 receiving.

Dallas starting tight end Dalton Schultz had six catches for 87 yards in the Cowboys' 27-23 victory over visiting Houston. Trailing 23-20, the Cowboys took possession on their own 2-yard line with 3:20 left. On the first play of the series, Dak Prescott hit Schultz for 21 yards over the middle. Later in the drive, Schultz caught an 18-yarder to give Dallas first-and-goal at the 4, setting up the winning touchdown.

For the Texans, Davis Mills started at quarterback and completed 16-of-21 passes for 175 yards with no touchdowns and one interception on a Hail Mary on the final play. Defensive tackle Thomas Booker batted down a pass in the second quarter among his 22 defensive snaps. He also played five special teams snaps.

The New York Jets named defensive tackle Solomon Thomas as their nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award. Thomas had one tackle and played 19 defensive snaps and four special teams snaps in the Jets' 20-12 loss at Buffalo. Starting right guard Nate Herbig played every offensive snap and two special teams snaps for the Jets.

Minnesota starting nose tackle Harrison Phillips had four tackles, including two solo, in the Vikings' 34-23 loss at Detroit. Phillips played 44 (63 percent) of defensive snaps.

Jacksonville offensive tackle Walker Little played six special teams snaps in the Jaguars' 36-22 victory at Tennessee. For the Titans, tight end Austin Hooper had five receptions for 68 yards with all but one catch for first downs. Hooper played 36 (54 percent) of Tennessee's offensive snaps.

Kansas City starting safety Justin Reid had four tackles, including three solo, in the Chiefs' 34-28 victory at Denver. Reid played all but one defensive snap. For the Broncos, Cameron Fleming started at left tackle and played every offensive snap.

Seattle tight end Colby Parkinson had one catch for 10 yards in a 30-24 loss to the visiting Carolina Panthers. Parkinson played 17 offensive snaps and 11 special teams snaps. For the Panthers, defensive end Henry Anderson returned to the active roster after a stroke caused him to miss six games, and played six defensive snaps.

Los Angeles Chargers starting right tackle Foster Sarell played every offensive snap in the Chargers' 23-17 victory over visiting Miami on Sunday night.

The Arizona Cardinals named tight end Zach Ertz, who is on injured reserve, as their nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award.

New Orleans cornerback Paulson Adebo and offensive guard Andrus Peat, Atlanta center Drew Dalman, Indianapolis inside linebacker Bobby Okereke, and Washington defensive end Casey Toohill had byes.

San Francisco inside linebacker Curtis Robinson was inactive.

Atlanta tight end Tucker Fisk and Miami outside linebacker Brennan Scarlett were on practice squads. New England punter Jake Bailey and running back Ty Montgomery, and Dallas receiver Simi Fehoko were on injured reserve.
