- The Cardinal has four singles players ranked this week, while the team slots in at No. 17. Stanford is the only school in the country with two top-five players, with Nishesh Basavareddy ranked second and Max Basing fourth. Arthur Fery slides in at No. 43 while Aryan Chaudhary is No. 74.
- Stanford owns 12 ITA Indoor national championships in program history, which leads all of college tennis, but is searching for its first event title since 2002.
- Basavareddy is 19-2 on the season after winning the ITA Fall National Championship, the ITA Northwest Super Regional and the consolation bracket at the ITA All-American Championships. Basavareddy has tallied a 10-1 record against nationally ranked opponents and a 3-0 mark against Pac-12 foes.
- Basing is 10-2 on the season, after an 18-2 dual record as a freshman, with seven victories coming over ranked opponents and a 6-1 mark in dual action. The sophomore beat four straight ranked opponents at the ITA All-American Championships to advance to the tournament's semifinal round.
- Fery returns for his junior campaign after taking the fall off from collegiate tennis to play in professional tournaments. An All-American last season, Fery was ranked as high as No. 1 in the country in singles and No. 6 in doubles, going 24-8 in singles and 26-10 in doubles overall. Fery is currently a top-500 singles player in the world, and picked up M25 professional wins this fall in singles in Sheffield, Nottingham and Malibu and in doubles in Sunderland. Fery has five wins at No. 1 singles this year, and beat the former No. 1 national player in straight sets (Ethan Quinn, Georgia - 7-6 (8), 6-3) in Orlando.
- The Cardinal had nine players in action this Fall, with six players recording multiple singles wins and three doubles pairs winning at least one matchup. Six players have at least four dual wins this season in singles.
- The Cardinal holds a 6-0 all-time mark against Michigan, with the last meeting coming in the 2017 NCAA Tournament (W, 4-1). Stanford is 5-1 against possible-second round foe Tennessee and 0-7 against Virginia.
- Stanford went 19-6 last season, including a perfect 10-0 record at Taube Family Tennis Center. Stanford earned a bid to its 14th consecutive NCAA Tournament, traveling to 14th seeded Harvard for a pair of victories to advance to the Super Regional.
- Paul Goldstein is in his ninth season as the Taube Family Director of Men's Tennis. Goldstein’s teams have posted a 137-57 record with a national ranking and a berth in the NCAA Championships in each of his seasons at the helm.
