CORVALLIS, Ore. – No. 24 Stanford closed out the regular season, falling to No. 25 Oregon State, 30-3, Sunday at Gill Coliseum.
Stanford heads into the postseason with a 6-7 overall record and a 2-3 mark in the Pac-12. Oregon State improves to 8-7, 3-2 Pac-12.
True freshman Daniel Cardenas was the lone Cardinal to pick up a win, defeating Isaiah Crosby, 17-13, at 157 pounds. Cardenas, who is ranked No. 11 nationally, scored six takedowns, four escapes and the riding time point in the win. He moves to 20-1 overall and 5-0 in duals.
Stanford turns its attention to the Pac-12 Championships, being held Sunday, March 5 at Maples Pavilion. Tickets are on sale now.
